Darkroom Rental

You must have previous darkroom experience, be confident and proficient to rent the darkroom.

For those unfamiliar with a darkroom, we offer one-to-one tuition and workshops. Book in, and we can help set you up and show you the ropes.

The darkroom is available from 10 am and can be booked for either a half-day or a full-day session.

Our Darkroom

Our darkroom is fairly small and all bookings are private. When you book the darkroom, you will be the only person who can use it.

You will be sent an email upon booking that will include the address, location for a lockbox and key code. You can let yourself into the darkroom and get to work.

What to Bring:

Darkroom paper and your negatives. Silver gelatine light sensitive paper can be purchased from suppliers in Hamilton or Auckland or second hand paper can be found on sites like Trade Me. We also offer small and limited quantities in the studio from time to time.
