Cyanotypes on Alternative Surfaces

Join us at Halide Studios for a two-day deep dive into cyanotype on alternative surfaces, where you’ll learn how to create distinctive cyanotype works on ceramic and glass.

Led by Kate van der Drift and Cassey Locke, this hands-on workshop is designed to expand both your technical understanding and creative possibilities within the cyanotype process. Working in a small, supportive group at the newly opened Halide Studios in Raglan, you’ll learn side-by-side with us through demonstration, experimentation, and guided making.

This is an immersive, practical weekend focused on process, material knowledge, and confidence—giving you the tools to continue exploring cyanotype well beyond the workshop.
